WILLAMATION

The other night, my friend and I went to the movies. I was hoping to see the new Harry Potter but it wasn’t playing so instead we watched Skyline. It was heavily endorsed by youtube and so I thought it might be ok. I know I can be a movie snob but this was a horrible movie. The plot never really picked up and it never really ended. It was stupid! SPOILER! They actually suck the brains out of people… what is this the 50’s? are they really trying to market that stuff on us again? [major spoiler] at the end, the main characters get abducted which if they left it at that and ended the movie, it would be dissent. But they had to keep it going. While in the space ship, the main character’s brain gets planted in an alien body and saves his girlfriend from getting her brain sucked out. That all happens in like 3 minutes at the very end. People in the theater were laughing at how bad it was. The director was trying so hard to give it a happy ending that it just ruined it. the movie starts off part way through then goes to a flashback then back to where it left off but it was just unnecessary. I guess they did that to make people not want to leave the first few minutes. I must say, the graphics and animation was awesome but if that was all I liked in movies I would probably love Avatar to! I give it a 2/5 rating. It’s really not worth the money but if Harry Potter isn’t playing, meh… why not go see it!
